Nature’s Touch becomes SLO County’s second Community Cafe

Every Thursday from 3:30 to 6:00, Nature’s Touch will provide a free community meal to anyone and everyone as long as the food lasts. Participants may dine in or take the meal with them, as long as they bring their own to-go containers.”There is no better way to warm our community’s heart than through their mouths,” says owner Melanie Blankenship. She promises that the food will always be local, seasonal, honest and fresh. Donations for this service are welcome. Nature’s Touch joins Bliss Cafe as one of the caring food establishments in San Luis Obispo County offering meals on a free or pay-what-you-can afford basis. Ecologistics is looking for ways to expand the program. If you have a suggestion for a restaurant who might be interested in becoming a Community Cafe, please let us know at info@ecologistics.org.
