Beginning Activism Class Starts May 17th

Ecologistics is starting something new for San Luis Obispo – a beginning activism class for people who want to answer the call for involvement in the burgeoning progressive movement.  Whatever issue you care deeply about – environmental protection, health care for all, women’s rights, climate change – you will learn the skills you need to be an effective citizen for positive change.

The first 6-week session will be held on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:30 beginning May 17 and ending June 21.  It is limited to only 25 people for maximum individual training.  You will learn from the best – Sacramento lobbyists and political staff, community organizers, and others.  Meet other engaged citizens and decide on what level you want to participate in your community.  An advanced course will be offered in the fall.
