Ecologistics is proud of our new relationship with dynamic community organizer Jeanne Blackwell and SLO Clean Water Action. Jeanne has accepted Ecologistics as a fiscal sponsor, which now allows her organization’s donors to make tax-deductible donations to ensure the preservation and protection of SLO’s right to clean water. “Our goal is to bring to the public of San Luis Obispo and its neighbors an opportunity to vote on a rights-based ordinance that would ensure clean water for all,” says Jeanne. SLO Clean Water Action has been hard at work on this project since 2012. Its most recent victory was the issuance of a letter from the San Luis Obispo City Council to the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors encouraging the Supervisors to adopt a ban on fracking within the County limits.”The work Jeanne is doing is so important, we are proud to support it,” said Ecologistics Board Chair Michael Jencks. If your organization is interested in fiscal sponsorship to further your environmental or social justice causes, please contact Ecologistics at (805) 548-0597 or email@example.com.
