Ecologistics announces two new fiscal sponsorships
We would like to welcome Carrizo Plain Conservancy and Connoisseur Creations, Inc. as organizations sponsored by Ecologistics to further their charitable purposes.
Carrizo Plain Conservancy is a recently formed nonprofit corporation dedicated to protecting and conserving the Carrizo Plain. “Our goal is to work with public agencies, conservation-oriented organizations and property owners to encourage preservation of the lands that contribute to the unique character and heritage of the Carrizo Plain,” says incorporator Neil Havlik. Ecologistics is assisting the Conservancy by providing a vehicle through which supporters can make tax-free donations until the Conservancy has qualified as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt corporation on its own.
Connoisseur Creations puts on the popular Economics of Being a Woman financial education programs as part of its goal to create resilient and healthy communities that are economically sustainable. “We are delighted that, through our collaboration with Ecologistics,” says instructor Andrea Wasko, “our supporters can now make a tax-deductible donation to support financial education for women.”
Carrizo Plain Conservancy and Connoisseur Creations join the Carrizo Colloquium and the Upper Salinas – Las Tablas Resource Conservation District as organizations supported by Ecologistics, Inc. Fiscal sponsorships are a way to assist groups and organizations in getting their charitable projects off the ground and obtain financial support from donors who need tax-deductions or obtain grants from foundations that require 501(c)(3) status.
