Ecologistics is proud to host award-winning social entrepreneur and visionary thinker Nina Simons in person at the Central Coast Bioneers Conference. In 1990, Nina, with her husband, Kenny Ausubel, founded Bioneers and she has helped lead the organization through 23 years of identifying, gathering and disseminating breakthrough innovations to transform people and planet. In 1990, Nina joined the start-up company Seeds of Change as its marketing director and was subsequently promoted to president. She helped grow the company into a national brand in only five years and oversaw the marketing, operations and finance departments while contributing to strategic business planning and fundraising. Nina’s work currently focuses on writing and teaching about women, leadership and diversity. She co-facilitates the Everywoman’s Leadership trainings and edited the anthology Moonrise: The Power of Women Leading from the Heart which contains 30 essay by over 40 contributors. Nina will speak on Friday, October 25 at the Central Coast Bioneers Conference on Changing the Story & Igniting Leadership: Mobilizing Change for a Healthy, Just & Resilient Future. She will also attend a fundraising luncheon on Saturday, October 26 hosted by Pam Stein.
