National Drive Electric Week is coming

 

Join the nationwide celebration of the benefits of vehicles with plugs: cars, trucks, bikes and more.  Numerous free events are being offered during the week of September 24-October 2.

Sunday, September 25 4-5:30 pm: V2X: EVs & the Energy Transition – This webinar will introduce Vehicle-Grid Integration, including advanced topics and will provide background for the Sept. 27 webinar.

Tuesday, September 27 12-1:30 pm: Maximizing EV Value – Our webinar panel will tell us how EV makers, charging equipment manufacturers and electric utilities are working together to open the road to widespread implementation of Vehicle-to-Grid technologies and their multiple benefits.

Thursday, September 29 6-9 pm: Electrify Your Life – SLO Farmer’s Market – Hear from local experts and EV owners about the many advantages of a fully electric lifestyle.  This event will showcase electric vehicles and provide information about programs to help community members reduce overall carbon footprint.

Saturday, October 1 9am-2pm: EV Ride and Drive – Check out a wide variety of electric cars and bikes on display, with several dealer models available for test drives and rides.  EV and E-bike owners will be there to offer rides and answer questions about the joys of driving and riding electric.
