SLO Clean Energy needs you at the City of SLO Community Forum

Uncle Sam - Vote

Here is your chance to have your voice heard on issues important to you. The City of SLO is inviting citizens to attend a forum Tuesday night, January 13 at 6:00 to tell them what you think its priorities should be for the upcoming year. It’s easy! You don’t have to talk or fill out any papers. Simply take the adhesive dots you will be given and stick them on the posters that describe what you think is most important. (Voting with dots – it’s been dubbed “Dotacracy!”) Community Choice – the ability for our cities and county to have local, clean energy – will be one of your choices, as will be other important options. All of our Central Coast Bioneers need to be there and vote!  More info here  http://slocleanenergy.org/sloce/make-community-choice-energy-a-slo-city-priority/

When:  Tuesday, January 13

Where:  Ludwick Center, 864 Santa Rosa Street

Who:  All residents of SLO County

How long:  Not long, just slip in anytime between 6-9 pm and post your dots

Why:  To tell the City it needs to make Community Choice Local Power a top priority for 2015

SLO Clean Energy is hosting a pre-forum rally at 5:00 at the Library Community Center at Palm and Osos. Free pizza and SLO Clean Energy t-shirts for all who sign up in advance at https://eventbrite.com/event/14702502581.
