The 2016 Collaboratory took place at Rancho El Chorro Retreat and Conference Center off Highway 1 between San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay, CA. (Click here for photos of the facility)

Rancho El Chorro is a self-contained retreat facility, with rustic cabins that hold 8 people each, a large meeting room, a cafeteria, centralized restrooms and showers, a barbecue area and an outdoor stage with fire pits. Camping is allowed if you prefer to come with a tent. If you would rather not share a cabin, lodging suggestions are below, but those will be at your own expense.

Meals

Meals were provided by Linnaea’s Café, featuring vegan, vegetarian and omnivore selections and are included in the registration fee.
