Welcome new Ecologistics board member Ted Hamilton

Ted Hamilton

We are delighted to announce that Ted Hamilton has joined the Ecologistics board of directors.

Ted worked for the Sierra Club in the Bay Area as a bookstore manager, event organizer, and forest activist. He has had the opportunity to coordinate a series of author speaking engagements with such writers as: Gary Snyder, David R. Brower, Stephanie Mills, Theodore Roszak, Wendell Berry, Dave Foreman, Bill McKibben, Barry Lopez, Galen Rowell, Bill Devall, Jerry Mander, and Ernest Callenbach.

Ted has worked for the garden company Smith & Hawken as the catalogue book buyer, and as a vitamin and body care specialist for Whole Foods and New Leaf Community Markets.

Since moving to San Luis Obispo county in 2010, Ted has worked as a volunteer at the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden and Grid Alternatives. Currently, he leads a writer’s group for Citizens’ Climate Lobby. Ted is interested in heading up a Deep Ecology program for Ecologistics, so stay tuned!
