Best of 2015 Bioneers Screenings Enjoyed at the Palm Theatre

Central Coast Bioneers recently presented a three-part screening of the Best of 2015 Bioneers keynote speakers and performers in the comfort of the Palm Theatre.

During intermissions, several lucky moviegoers won books by authors such as Kim Stanley Robinson, Nina Simons, and Bill McKibben.

Each screening was followed by a lively audience discussion related to the day’s speakers. Dr. Yarrow Nelson, Chair of the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department at Cal Poly led a discussion about drawing down CO2, Ecologistics board member Tori Poppenheimer led a conversation about community activism, and Cal Poly student and activist Saba Ashgary led an exchange of ideas about diversity in the environmental movement.
