Scott R. Lathrop is an accomplished Executive, Chief Business Officer, and Board Member with over two decades of success across real estate development, public education, and non-profit industries. His broad areas of expertise include board governance, project management, business administration, project financing, building construction, and accounting.
Scott is a founding member of ytt Northern Chumash Nonprofit. As President, a major focus has been to build relationships with private and public entities, so that they in turn can assist ytt in their efforts to regain their ancestral homelands along the amazing Pecho Coast.
Scott recently retired as the Assistant Superintendent, Business Service, with Eastside Union School District Lancaster, California. Before his role at Eastside Union School District, Scott served as the Chief Business Officer with Paso Robles Joint Unified School District and Cold Spring School District in Santa Barbara, California.
Scott obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Technology from California Polytechnic State University. He also earned a teaching credential from California Polytechnic State University. In addition, he is a certified Chief Business Officer (CBO), and California class B general contractor.
Scott is past Chairman of Cuesta Community College District Bond Oversight Committee, Member of the Cal Poly President’s Council of Advisors, and a Member of PG&E Diablo Canyon Decommissioning Engagement Panel.
