Jack Depuy (de-PEW) — Jack has a master’s degree in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation from Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego, worked on climate justice and climate resilience projects as a Sea Grant Fellow with the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and now co-chairs the new Ecosocialist working group with the Democratic Socialists of America San Luis Obispo chapter. He is the Basic Needs Coordinator at Cuesta College, helping students get access to the essential resources that impact their holistic health, belonging, persistence, and overall well-being.  He also works with Kelpful, a local seaweed harvesting collective, as their lead for Climate and Policy.
