Congressional Climate Message Day
Nine hundred Citizens’ Climate Lobby volunteers will be meeting with elected officials on Capitol Hill on June 23, lobbying for carbon fee and dividend legislation to address climate change. CCL’s meetings will be even more successful if people contact their one representative and two senators and declare their support for congressional action on climate change.
On Monday, June 22, the day before CCL lobbies on the Hill, CCL asks that supporters participate in Congressional Climate Message Day (CCMD), communicating by phone and social media with their members of Congress to register support for legislation to price carbon.
Please mark your calendars for June 22 to take this action. It will only take a few minutes, but it will have a huge impact in CCL’s efforts to fight climate change.
