Local investing

Many of you enjoyed the talk given by Marco Vangelisti, Investing for the World We Want, at the 2014 CCBioneers Conference. Marco reported that following his talk, ten people stepped up to become involved in Slow Money SLO, our local investing group here at home. Slow Money SLO’s next meeting is December 9 at the SLO Grange Hall at 6 pm. Come and learn how you can get involved in your local economy (either as an investor as an entrepreneur), learn more about the self-directed IRAs Marco spoke about at the conference, and hear a talk by Carolyn Duell of Elemental Herbs, a local and very successful B Corporation.
