At the Summit of the Americas in 2022, Governor Gavin Newsom and Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau announced a new partnership to advance bold climate action. California and Canada signed a Memorandum of Cooperation fighting climate change, reducing pollution, cutting back on plastic waste, advancing zero-emission vehicles, protecting the environment and building climate resilience.  In honor of this event, singer/songwriter Jill Knight and bop legend Jonny Madara began writing a new song to honor the event.  That song, “It’s a Beautiful Thing,” was premiered at the 2023 Central Coast Bioneers Conference.  You can see a video of it here. 

We here at Ecologistics are collaborating with Jill and Johnny to create a music video of this song, to send hope and encouragement to climate-weary folks around the world.  The plan is to have musicians in California and Canada record portions of the song, which will be edited together into one, unifying message.  Music videos cost lots of money to record, film and edit.  We are hoping you will help us reach our goal of $10,000.  Please click here to make a tax-deductible donation.
