SLO Clean Energy needs YOU!

SLO Clean Energy is committed to local clean energy for communities within San Luis Obispo County by establishing Community Choice Aggregation. CCA has been shown to be the most effective path to local resiliency, local control, local jobs, long-term electrical rate stability and renewable clean energy.

The Leadership Team of SLO Clean Energy is looking for volunteers to serve as public outreach ambassadors to educate individuals, groups and businesses about the benefits of CCA. Ambassadors will build bridges to multiple stakeholders by gathering knowledge, listening carefully to concerns, and engaging stakeholders.

SLO Clean Energy will provide Ambassadors with all of the tools they will need to be effective, including orientation and training, brochures and other materials, a name badge and ongoing support. Perks include public recognition for your contribution to a resilient community, invitations to special events, excellent networking opportunities, and a certificate of recognition.  And best of all, in the future when you power up your lights and phone with clean, local and resilient energy, you’ll be proud that you had a hand in making that happen.
