Introducing Ecologistics First Employee: Jennifer Condron!
On Ecologistics 15th anniversary we hired our very first employee, please welcome Jennifer Condron. Jennifer is our new Administrative Assistant, however her connections at Ecologistics run deeper than her most recent job position. Jennifer over a decade ago, gave a presentation at our Blue C Community Garden on behalf of the Master Preservers.
A little About Jennifer:
Jennifer found her love for picking wild strawberries in the fields of Michigan where she spent her childhood. She moved to Chicago to earn her degree in Philosophy and Environmental Science and became involved in the Bioregional Movement, getting to know her neighbors in the city. Jennifer moved to the Central Coast 30 years ago and fell in love with it’s beauty and charm. She has worked as an arborist, school garden coordinator, recycling outreach coordinator and volunteered with many non-profits in the community. She currently volunteers as a Master Food Preserver with the University of California Cooperative Extension and loves making jams and fermented foods. She enjoys hiking, kayaking and gardening in her free time.
