Mark your calendars March 6-13 for SLO County Women’s Restaurant Week
In honor of Women’s History Month, Ecologistics-sponsored nonprofit At Her Table brings together more than 150 women-owned and co-owned businesses in San Luis Obispo County for Women’s Week March 6-13th. This 7-day county-wide event features special menu items, workshops, and discussions that encourage open conversations about the stories of local women in the food and beverage industry. This year there will be 50 food specials & events for locals to enjoy throughout the week.
Paso Market Walk will be able offering a progressive menu experience with six female-owned businesses: Paso Robles Wine Merchant, Momotaro Ramen, Just Baked, The Vreamery, The Third Degree, and Lou Lou Cheese Girl.
Yes Cocktail Co will have an At Her Table Cocktail Kit available! It will feature a selection of owner Lauren Butler’s favorite products, custom recipes created for Women’s Week, and a link to a video showing how to make the drinks and hear more of the stories behind them. Each cocktail is inspired by a woman who influenced mixology in history!
Jaime Lewis of Consumed will be moderating the “Behind the Bar” discussion at Highwater. This event shares the experiences of women in the alcohol industry. There will also be an HR representative to educate the community on how we can best support women in these roles. Mixer event to follow!
At Her Table will host their headlining event, the “Untamed” Dinner, on Tuesday, March 8th – International Women’s Day at The Carissa with a special plated menu created by six local female chefs and a surprise performance.
Membership is completely free for women in the food and beverage industry. Participating businesses will receive 100% of the sales. Donated funds will go towards funding next year’s event, mission initiatives, and their emergency restaurant fund. Visit www.AtHerTable.com or follow @athertableSLO on Instagram/Facebook.
