Registration now open for Central Coast Bioneers 2018
We have a jam-packed weekend program for you for the 9th annual Central Coast Bioneers Conference, November 3. For the first time we will be at the beautiful Oak Glen Pavilion at the SLO Botanical Garden. The morning will feature five hand-picked video presentations from the National Bioneers Conference by plenary speakers Justin Winters, May Boeve, Gar Alperovitz and Rebecca Moore. We will have reports by local activists on the Environmental Voter Project and Measure G. After lunch our special keynote speaker will be Paul Engler, author of “This is an Uprising” on Resistance: How to Sustain the Movement to Win. With the mid-term elections only hours away, Paul will show us how to create intentional and synergistic relationships between different approaches to social change to build a resilient movement ecology.
In addition to the main conference on Saturday, Ecologistics will be offering a very special opportunity for you to train with acclaimed international facilitator, Dr. Evelyn Zellerer, Founder and Director of Peace of the Circle. Peace Circles are an intentionally designed yet flexible methodology for communication and creative change. Two identical trainings will be offered, one on Friday, November 2 and one on Sunday, November 4. Attendance is limited to 20 people each day.
A special gift for those who register by October 15 – a free one-year membership to SLO Natural Foods Co-op!
