The “Grange Future” tour comes to SLO
Greenhorns’ “Grange Future” traveling exhibit about the history and future of the Grange idea will arrive in San Luis Obispo to celebrate the history and contemporary revival of the Grange movement.
Severine von Tscharner Fleming, founder and director of Greenhorns, who spoke at the 2014 Bioneers Conference, will be on hand for this celebration of our farming history and future.
This is a free event and will be held at the San Luis Obispo Grange, 2880 Broad Street, Thursday, March 19 from 6-9 pm. The event will include a community potluck, an introduction to the SLO Grange by Eric Michielssen of Pozo Organic Farm, presentation of the new “Farmers Guild” movement by Executive Director Evan Wiig and a presentation by Severine von Tscharner Fleming.
