Volunteer opportunities

The Reskilling Expo will take place at the SLO Vet’s Hall on November 9 from 10 am to 5 pm. Volunteers are needed to help with registration, help set up the demonstration tables, assist attendees in finding the events they are interested in and cleaning up. Ecologistics is the event organizer for the Carrizo Colloquium, a celebration of the flora and fauna of the Carrizo Plain (see carrizocolloquium.org).  The event will be held Friday, November 7 from 8 am to 4 pm at the Oak Glen Pavilion in the SLO Botanical Garden.  Volunteers are needed Thursday afternoon November 6 between 12 noon and 2:00 p.m. to set up chairs and tables, and then the day of the event from 7:30 – 8:30 am to register attendees and from 4:00 – 5:00 pm to break down. You will be able to attend the Colloquium at no charge. You do not have to work both days, just one or the other.   Please call (805) 548-0597 or e-mail info@ecologistics.org if you are interested.
