Learning a new, collaborative leadership style

Bioneers co-Founder Nina Simons is offering her whole-person approach to developing women’s leadership abilities through her Cultivating Women’s Leadership Training workshop. We are currently accepting applicants for the first of two 2013 CWL Trainings, to be held May 13-18 amidst the majestic redwoods in Ben Lomond, CA. Read on for details on how you can expand your impact in the world while feeling more aligned with your purpose and innate leadership style.

Many women don’t aspire to leadership because we’ve inherited a definition of the word that is at the least conflicted, and often even an overt turn-off. In this conventional view, leadership is often based largely upon charisma and luck or achievement, and it often implies aggression and a top-down, hierarchical approach to others.

After 7 years of offering Cultivating Women’s Leadership intensives, we’ve developed a leadership framework that exemplifies the kinds of flexible, invitational and team-based or rotating leadership models that women have practiced throughout time. The program’s uniqueness is in its intersectional approach to leadership. Rather than focusing on either internal work or skill-building for external change, CWL connects personal awareness practices with increased capacity to be bold and effective multi-cultural leaders in the world. Alumnae report lasting and profound impacts, including many who have had extensive prior leadership experience.

Dates for 2013 Cultivating Women’s Leadership Trainings

We hope you’ll apply and come join us, and co-create a leadership revolution that’s in service to Earth, Life and Justice for all.
