Ben Goldfarb talk and book signing
Ben Goldfarb is an award-winning environmental journalist who covers wildlife conservation, marine science, and public lands management. His work has been featured in Science, Mother Jones, The Guardian, High Country News, Audubon Magazine, and Scientific American. He will be speaking at the invitation of the SLO County Beaver Brigade and Santa Barbara Beaver Brigade at a free event on Monday October 23rd from 6:30 to 8:30 at the SLO Public Library, 995 Palm Street.
Goldfarb is the winner of the 2019 PEN/E.O. Wilson Literary Science Writing Award. Copies of his books Eager: The Surprising, Secret Life of Beavers and Why They Matter and Crossings: How Road Ecology is Shaping the Future of Our Planet will be available for purchase at the event.
