Calling all youth environmentalists

The Pollination Project announced last week that it has received a $75,000 grant from Levi Strauss & Co. to launch a worldwide grant program to fund grassroots environmental projects led by people age 22 and younger.
Applications are open now and will stay open until all funding is gone. Learn more and apply here. Environmental issues focused on include:
- Promotion of plant-based diets
- Climate change education and advocacy
- Water access and conservation
- Environmental justice
- Community gardens
- Air quality
- Protecting biodiversity
- Natural resource conservation and management
- Population growth
Ecologistics board member Celia Zaentz was a The Pollination Project grant recipient in 2013 to begin work on the Blue C Community Garden. They are a wonderful organization. Good luck to anyone who applies and let us know if you receive a grant so we can promote your project.
