Ecologistics welcomes PRGNxPL

The most recent addition to our sponsored organization family is The People’s Revolutionary Garden Network x Pansita Llena, a coalition of individuals across San Luis Obispo and northern Santa Barbara Counties meeting the needs of underserved members of the community.  PRGNxPL provides education and action on food sovereignty, facilitates community resource and knowledge sharing and participates in mutual reciprocity support and care networks.  The goal for their project, Seed to Belly, is to connect with the land and reclaim the community’s food system in a way that includes the conversation and land care principles of the native Chumash/Salinan peoples of the Central Coast and engage in a movement to end food apartheid.

PRGNxPL is part of a larger coalition of abolitionist mutual aid organizers on the Central Coast, including SLO Informed, Project Cariño, Mujeres De Acción, Paso People’s Action and A-Town Mutual Aid Action.  Ecologistics loves PRGNxPL’s innovative approach to the wicked problem of food insecurity by teaching people to grow their own food and declare their independence.  For more information about PRGNxPL and to make a donation, go to https://www.gardennetwork.org/.
