Their mission is to support the sustainable growth of small food, beverage and farm businesses which benefit the local food ecosystem and the economic development and health of the SLO County region. Slow Money connects lenders with food-oriented businesses needing micro-loans for expansion of their businesses. Many names who have benefitted from this matchmaking will be familiar to you: SLO Food Co-op, Mama Ganache, Whalebird Kombucha, Back Porch Bakery, and Bang the Drum Brewery.
